I'll try to make more with this color combo since it proved to be popular.

The color combo on this one is so gorgeous and unusual. I don't know what made me put the blazing orange with the pewter colored dupioni silk, but when I did, I knew it was so right! The silk is a hard color to describe. I said "pewter" because I think that's the one word to describe it best. It has hints of brown and lavender in it, but it's neither color. The ribbon on the side is so lush and intricate, I really wanted to show it off. I like how the giant orange orb is sinking behind it, like a sunset. I topped it off with a curly cue of green. It seemed to balance out the design and anchor down the green stripe I sewed on the side of the orange strip of silk by the ribbon. This one really shimmers in the sun. The back has a swirly pattern on it that I top stitched. The inside is lavender satin, which may seem like an odd choice, but I liked having the inside look nice and cool since the outside looks like it could scorch you! The stiff bottom has dark, metallic purse feet. The ribbon was the last in my stash, so there is only one of these purses available!

This sounds like such an obvious thing to point out, but this purse looks much better in person. Others photograph well for the site, but this one just doesn't quite translate. Trust me, it's a good one!
