That's
right, as in "the dark lord"... Darth Vader!
Not only do these colors and fabrics make me think of something
mysterious and cool, but the large orb has always reminded
me of the Death Star. The body and straps of the bag are
made with black dupioni silk. The bottom is stiff and has
4 dark metallic purse feet on it to help protect your bag.
For the design I cut out pieces from brocade showing a
lovely mum and a pretty red on red design. I satin stitched
around the designs and top stitched the large red circle
to add a little movement. The width of the bottom allows
for a roomy inside, and the tab closure has a magnetic
snap. Welcome to the dark side.

I put a black pocket inside with the red
satin for a little extra "badness"
The
back has a circular design I stitched with my machine.
Now this is where I could have used the Force.
I think Darth Vader would approve of this
