Garden bird

Seriously, isn't this a gorgeous mix of colors? The oranges go from tangerine to coral with a splash of gold in the middle. So pretty. I used a dark brown, striped material that has a little sheen to it for the flap. The bird is made from dupioni silk and silk/rayon brocade. The body of the bag is one of my all time favorite upholstery fabrics. It's a rich mixture of oranges and browns and to make it even better, it's soft and velvety. The strap is brown webbing and the lining is orange cotton and satin.
