For this purse style I took the pattern I made for my Zip Totes and amplified it. These large totes have a zipper closure, longer straps for plenty of arm room, a large pocket on the back with a magnetic snap closure, a stiff construction to hold it's shape no matter what you cram inside, and purse feet to help keep it a little cleaner on the bottom.

I used dupioni silk, silk/rayon brocades, vintage textiles, vintage Japanese kimono silk, and vintage Japanese obis to make some dazzling handbags. Some are one of a kind, so grab them fast!
