Slipping
Glimpser
I saw
some footage of Willem De Kooning, the artist, where he was
sitting around with other painter friends and talking about
art. He said, "I don't think that I'm really expressing
the world around me- you know, this real world, the so-called
real world. I'm in my element and I'm a little bit out of
this world... and then I'm in the real world, and I'm on the
beam, because when I'm falling, I'm doing alright. When I'm
slipping, I say 'hey, this is very interesting'. It's when
I'm standing upright that bothers me. I'm not doing so good...
I'm stiff. As a matter of fact, I'm really slipping most of
the time into that glimpse. Now that's a wonderful sensation-
to slip into this glimpse. I'm like a slipping glimpser".
I love
that. Too tired to read a purse description? Just relax and
look at the photos. They tell the story..
