Blue Genie at the Oasis has it all! It's known as a tourist destination, but really, if you love a beautiful view, quirky Texas art, a good burger and fries, salsa dancing on Sunday nights... well head on out to the Oasis and have it all. Blue Genie is known for their successful holiday show that happens each year through out the month of December, but now they have a permanent retail shop that's just glorious. Every time I go out there I'm in awe of the artwork around me, the handmade goods of local artists who share the same passion as I do (that is, obsessively making things).
